Tenderization
Unidecor uses A and B-grade veneers which ensure that the grade doesn’t affect its structural performance. Each veneer undergoes tenderization to achieve 180-degrees flat, bend-free panel.
Core Composing & Arrangement
With the help of the Matt ply process, all layers are joined by the core composer that further minimizes the joints and gaps of plywood. This process is vital as it critically determines the dimensional stability and structural performance that affects the strength and stiffness of the ply. The cross-lamination process of the veneer at this stage provides our plywood with dimensional stability under temperature and moisture changes.
Advanced Pentakompress Technology
The composed bundle of the core veneer goes through 5 times of pressing at this stage to provide bonding, flatness and dimensional stability to the panel.
Both Side Calibration
Calibrated Plywood is manufactured when the assembled core veneers undergo a two-way pressing process in hydraulic hot press. It is then sanded for calibration, wherein, the uneven thickness of veneers pressed to provide a uniformly thickened plywood. It is then re-sanded ina wide belt sanding machine.
